In order to help manage today’s ever-growing and increasingly complex fiber routing demands, Sylex offers fiber optic Shuffle Cross-Connect solutions. These compact and bespoke solutions provide card designers with high flexibility and customisable fiber routing architecture. These solutions are tailored to the requested fiber density and within space limitations. Sylex can provide full assistance in your design and testing phase as well as with volume product supply.

Given the high variety of configurations, Sylex has developed their Shuffle Cross-Connect solutions in a space-saving, modular and scalable platform. As shown in the product examples, our platform provides design flexibility in terms of connector type (e.g.: MTP®, MXCTM, PRIZM® LightTurn®, MT ferrule…), fiber density (from 12 up to x-hundreds of fibers routed) and minimum space requirements (modular and stackable design).

Sylex’s Shuffle Cross-Connect features benefits such as optimized airflow and improved cooling efficiency, adjustable form factor as well as reduced assembly and integration time. The solutions are factory pre-configured and come 100% tested for cross-connect mapping with guaranteed low-loss optical parameters.

The wide range of application in supercomputing equipment includes inside-card fiber routing as well as card-to-card and shelf-to-shelf fiber routing.

Shuffle cross-connect

CPR, also known as the “Construction Products Regulation” – one of the most recently discussed topics in the European fiber optic community – has been in effect since 1 July 2017.
